01What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file a website places in your browser to remember something, such as your language. Local storage (localStorage) does something similar but is not sent with every request. Both fall under the ePrivacy rules and, when they contain personal data, under the GDPR.
02What we use now
Only what is needed to make the site work. No consent is required for that and we show no cookie banner. The table above is the complete, current list.
03What we do not use (yet)
No analytics such as Google Analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, no social media pixels and no third-party embeds that set cookies. Fonts are served with the site itself, not through an external service that could track your visit.
If we start using analytics, we will first choose a privacy-friendly solution without personal data. If consent is nevertheless required, we will ask for it beforehand, update this page and increase the version number.
04Managing cookies
You can always delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The site keeps working; only your language and theme choice will not be remembered.
